MTB XC Round 5 - Sponsored by Ian Browns Cycles

For Round 5 of the GVC MTB Winter XC sponsored by Ian Brown's Cycle Shop will be at Reservoir

Parking on is very limited on site

Signs will be put out from St Saviours Church

Sign-on and practice from 8.30am, sign-on closes 15 mins before each race start.

This course will have a mix of flowing single track descents (with a good surface despite the weather we've been having), some tighter more techy sections, steep climbs and some flat (though muddy field sections), so it should be a good mix offering something for everyone.

New to racing? If you've never raced with us, don't worry- you are very welcome to come along and try things out. We have a Sport category that's a good introduction. If you're not a member you can enter up to 2 races for £5 on the day (which includes insurance). If you want to continue racing you'll have to join the club, but this is now a reduced fee of £30 for the remainder of the season.

Alternatively you can sign up for the Open MTB Winter Series - 5 of this seasons MTB races will be designated Open Series Races - results from 4 of the 5 races will count towards the Open Championship. £5 per race or £20 for all 5. Sign up for the whole series online or pay per race.

If you want your results to be recorded you will need a transponder chip. Chips will be £5 to rent plus an additional £5 deposit which you will get back when you give the chip back to the timekeeper or organiser at the end of the race.
